Terms of Service
Last updated: August 10, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the LoneHauler platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by LoneHauler ("LoneHauler," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, joining our waitlist, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
1. Description of service
LoneHauler is a multi-tenant software-as-a-service operations platform for independent and small-crew hauling businesses ("Haulers"), covering scheduling, dispatch, routing, billing, customer communication, and related tools across supported service verticals including trash & recycling, water delivery, mobile auto glass, and event & party rental. LoneHauler is a software provider; we do not perform hauling, delivery, or service work ourselves, and we are not a party to the service relationship between a Hauler and their customers.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep that information up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscription plans and billing
- Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly subscription basis beginning on the date you subscribe, and automatically renew each billing cycle until canceled.
- Fees for your selected plan, any add-ons, and applicable overage or usage-based charges (such as SMS overage) are billed to the payment method on file for each billing cycle.
- Plan upgrades and downgrades take effect according to the billing terms shown at the time of the change, and charges are prorated for the remainder of the current billing cycle where applicable.
- Optional SMS credit packs are one-time, non-refundable purchases and do not roll over to a subsequent billing cycle.
- LoneHauler charges a flat 1% transaction fee on payments processed through the platform, on every plan, in addition to standard payment-processor fees.
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing; your plan and its features remain active through the end of the billing cycle already paid for. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing cycles. We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, violation of these Terms, or as described below.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, or federal law
- Send SMS or email communications to recipients who have not consented to receive them, or in violation of TCPA, CAN-SPAM, or other applicable messaging laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or underlying systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law
- Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
- Misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any business using the Service
We may suspend or terminate access for any account that violates this section.
6. Customer data and ownership
As between a Hauler and LoneHauler, the Hauler retains ownership of their customer, job, and business data entered into the platform. LoneHauler processes that data to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Upon cancellation, a Hauler may request export of their data within a reasonable period before it is deleted from active systems.
7. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), and Google Maps (mapping), and may integrate with additional third-party services such as Samsara. Your use of those integrations is also subject to the applicable third party's terms. LoneHauler is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LONEHAULER AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LONEHAULER IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LoneHauler harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party, including claims arising from communications sent to your customers.
11. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which LoneHauler is incorporated, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
